Sir Theophilus Constantinou, CBE, was the founding director of the Sir Theo Foundation.
Sir Theo passed away on 10 September 2019.
Sir Theo was committed to improving health outcomes for the people of PNG, and devoted considerable resources to that end.
The board of directors of the trustee for the Sir Theo Foundation will continue Sir Theo’s “health mission” and – with Sir Theo’s passion always in mind – looks forward to helping make change for the benefit of all the people of PNG.
George A. Constantinou
George grew up in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and is the nephew of the late Sir Theo. George has over 15 years' experience in the construction, property and hospitality industries. George is the Chief Executive Officer of Monier and Monier Water Solutions, the Managing Director of Hebou Constructions, Texas Chicken New Zealand, and KG Property Investments, and a Director of Rouna Quarries. George holds a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning and Masters of Project Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Gerea Aopi, CBE
Mr Aopi's services to the community and commercial life of PNG include serving as an executive director of Oil Search Ltd (for over 10 years) and as a director of Bank of South Pacific Limited (also for over 10 years). He is sought after for his intimate knowledge of commercial matters in PNG and internationally, and is committed to the promotion of corporate philanthropy in the continued growth of PNG as an economic powerhouse in the region.
Bruce Mead
Bruce is a CPA member of both the PNG and Australian Societies of Certified Practising Accountants and has worked for over 20 years in senior finance and management roles across a number of sectors in PNG and Australia. In addition to his professional engagements, Bruce has been involved with the PNG community in various roles since 1995, including in positions as treasurer and committee member.
